Who this is for
If you’ve ever:
- opened a traditional editor and felt instantly overwhelmed
- only wanted to remove a background or clean up an image, but got stuck in tool complexity
- tried AI edits but found the results too fake or too unpredictable
you’re exactly who we’re building for. EditPhoto AI isn’t trying to replace everything. We’re focused on making the most common photo edits feel like an everyday action: open, upload, click once (or say one sentence), export.

The problem isn’t “no tools”—it’s “tools that don’t fit”
Traditional editors are powerful, but they assume you’re willing to learn, spend time, and manage every detail. In reality, most people just want photos that look cleaner, more natural, and more usable—without becoming an expert.
So we focus on three things:
- High-frequency tasks: background removal, object cleanup, gentle enhancement
- Natural results by default: avoid the “one-look fake” effect
- Control and repeatability: understand what changed, retry quickly, and stay in control
What you can do today
In v0.0.1 (based on what the UI supports), you can:
- AI Enhancement: improve clarity and overall quality (best for mild blur/noise)
- Background Removal: one-click cutout, export with transparency
- Magic Eraser: remove unwanted objects like passersby and small clutter
- Prompt Editing: describe the change in plain language (start small and specific)

A workflow that “fails less” (recommended)
If you want stable, natural-looking results, we recommend:
- Clean up first: use the eraser to remove the most distracting elements
- Then cut out: remove background when you actually need it (IDs, product shots, composites)
- Finish with light enhancement: aim for “better,” not “obviously edited”
Our principles (a promise to ourselves—and to you)
- Natural by default: we prefer conservative improvements over exaggerated effects
- Controllable by default: retryable, understandable, and reversible
- Time-saving by default: fewer steps between intent and result
What we’re improving next
Our near-term focus is:
- Quality: hard edges (hair, transparency), consistency, detail preservation
- Efficiency: faster iterations, clearer guidance, less trial-and-error
We want your real-world feedback
If you’re willing to help, the most useful feedback includes:
- the original image (or a shareable substitute)
- your intended outcome (one sentence is enough)
- the actual output (screenshot helps)
- what felt “off” (edges, lighting, texture, likeness, etc.)
We’ll use this to make “everyday photo editing” simpler, more natural, and more reliable.
